Individuals can purchase foreign currency either for international travel or for bank deposit purposes. Both have seperate regulatory requirements.

Is there any commission charged for transactions at ZeeQue Exchange?

No, ZeeQue Exchange charges 0% commission for its services.

How much currency can an individual purchase from ZeeQue Exchange?

Each individual can purchase a maximum of $10,000 in one day and a maximum of $100,000 in one calender year as per the instructions of the State Bank of Pakistan.

How much currency can an individual purchase for their international travel?

International travelers can purchase up to $5,000 for each trip and can purchase a maximum of $30,000 in one year for travelling purposes.

What are the methods to transfer funds abroad?

Customers can transfer funds abroad through:

What is the maximum amount an individual can transfer abroad in one year?

An individual can transfer up to $100,000 abroad in one calender year. Transfers can only be made to either:

  1. The Customers Personal Foreign Bank Account
  2. Blood Relatives Foreign Bank Account
  3. Foreign University Bank Account
  4. Foreign Hospital/Clinics Bank Account

What are the requirements for transferring funds to a family member abroad?

To transfer funds to a family member abroad, the following documents are required:

  1. Senders Bank Statement (Copy)
  2. Sender ID Card (Original)
  3. Receivers Passport (Copy)

Customers wishful of transferring funds to their family abroad can visit ZeeQue Exchange with these documents, undergo a quick biometric verification and pay for their transfer. Transfers are usually completed within 2-3 business days.

What are the payment modes available with ZeeQue Exchange?

In accordance with SBP regulations, transfers under $2,000 and equivalent can be paid for in cash and banking channels (Cross Cheque, RTGS, Online Transfer, Pay Order) must be used for payment of transfers above $2,000.

Is there a maximum limit for transferring funds for university fee payments?

Yes, as per current regulations, there is a maximum daily limit of $10,000 for transferring funds abroad for university fee payments.

What are the charges associated with the transfer?

The charges for the transfer include a flat fee of $22, which covers the bank charges. We pass on our discounted bank charges rate to our customers.

How do I initiate the transfer?

To initiate the transfer, you need to download the form from our website, visit a ZeeQue branch to submit the form and required documents, complete biometric verification, and make the payment.
